Soundinstallations by Staalplaat Soundsystem. Limited edition of 300 copies. Active since 2000, Staalplaat Soundsystem create sound art installations & performances. The sound installations are installed, played & performed usually outside of a museum in it's immediate environment or industrial settings, urban public spaces or nature. Over fifteen years, Staalplaat Soundsystem has amassed a multi-disciplinary oeuvre that is ephemeral and immaterial at the same time as it is physical and present. It bespeaks a poetic and experimental but also down-to-earth view of culture. Staalplaat Soundsystem is Carlo Crovato, Radboud Mens, Jens Alexander Ewald and Geert-Jan Hobijn. This LP contains a few live recordings made over the years.
